THE STORY BEHIND OUR NAME
Rooted in Family. Built on Service.
The name 183rd & Webster Federal Solutions comes from the intersection of East 183rd Street and Webster Avenue in the Bronx, New York—a place with deep meaning to our founder and his family.
From 1939 to 1964, founder Raymond J. Ricca’s father grew up on the third floor of the building depicted in our company logo. His grandparents lived on the second floor while other family members also called the building home. It was more than an address; it was a place where multiple generations of family lived, grew, and built their lives together.
183rd & Webster was chosen to honor those roots and carry that legacy forward. The building and street signs incorporated into our identity serve as a reminder of where the story began and of the values that guide the company today:
FOUNDER & LEADERSHIP
Raymond J. Ricca | Founder & Managing Member
Raymond J. Ricca is a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Operation New Dawn (OND), and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Following his military service, he continued serving the Veteran community through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), where he gained more than seven years of direct experience, including service as a Rating Veterans Service Representative (RVSR) within both the Veterans Service Center (VSC) and Decision Review Operations Center (DROC).
His experience provides 183rd & Webster Federal Solutions with a practical understanding of the Veterans disability claims lifecycle, including how medical evidence, Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), and claims documentation are evaluated during the adjudication process.
This combination of military service and direct VBA experience provides the leadership perspective behind the company’s commitment to quality, accuracy, accountability, and mission-focused support for federal prime contractors.
